1. What is Lights, Camera, Save!? Lights, Camera, Save! is one of several components of the ABA Education Foundation's Teach Children to Save program. The Teach Children to Save program involves volunteer bankers working in their communities to help young people develop lifelong savings habits. 2. How will the video contest work? To participate, students will develop a creative way to illustrate the value in saving and record it. Videos will be judged on creativity, content and message. Each of the participating banks host the first round of judging and submit one winning video to compete on the national level. The top winners will be shared nationally to inspire others to become savers and will receive up to $3,000 in U.S. savings bonds. 3. How will I submit the winning entry? Once your bank has reviewed and selected the winning video, you will submit the video along with the winner's entry form provided to the ABA Education Foundation. The postmark deadline Nov. 19. E-mail submission deadline is Nov. 28. 4. What will my bank's role be in the program? As one of the participating banks you will promote the contest using the free cobrandable marketing materials provided by the foundation. Your bank will host a local or preliminary round, which will entail accepting entries, judging, and selecting a winner to compete in the national competition. Your bank will also select judges to judge entries received at your bank using provided criteria. 5. What is the ABA Education Foundation's role in the program?
As the program sponsor and in efforts to make the contest as easy and turnkey as possible, the ABA Education Foundation has done the following: 6. Are there Official Rules governing the contest? The foundation understands the liabilities associated with contests, and worked with a contest law attorney to develop the Official Rules.* Participation is open to all ABA member banks. 9. When will I receive my free cobrandable marketing materials? Participating bankers will have access to the Lights, Camera, Save! Banker Toolkit following their participation in one of two Webinars. The Banker Toolkit is a website designed exclusively for Lights, Camera, Save! participating banks. In efforts to make this program as turnkey as possible, the webpage will be your banks go-to place for free promotional materials, quick steps, judging information and additional Lights, Camera, Save! resources.
