JUL 30 - Panel Removes ABA-Opposed Interchange Provision
The Senate Appropriations Committee last night voted to remove ABA-opposed language in an appropriations bill  that would have fixed interchange prices for federal government purchases, and replaced it with a provision requiring a study on the issue. More Newsbytes 

JUL 27 - Case Shiller: Home Prices Up 1.3 Percent
According to the Case-Shiller Index, existing home prices rose in May by 1.3 percent. This was the second consecutive month of price appreciation. Of the twenty metro areas, only Las Vegas saw home price declines over the month. From a year prior,  the index was up 4.6 percent. More Perspectives
